Women’s Health Support
Mothers or covered prenatal care, nutrition during pregnancy, complications that can happen during pregnancy, postpartum care,
breastfeeding, how to prevent low birthweight/preterm births/stillbirths, nutrition a milk production, and physical activity during pregnancy.
A. Trimester Health Check-ups: 4 doctor visits / year with Free Medical Camps: camps per center with free Medical.
B. Each center had 2 visits by female OBGYN Specialist to go more in – depth with our moms.
C. We gave each mom a health checkup and any medication/vitamins needed we given to the mom free of charge.
Providing free nutrition & Counselling
With Program of the free Nutrition Lactating Pregnant Women & Child we served 251 Women & amp; babies the year, and 72 women cycled out, ready to give up their spot, and 72 new women cycled in. We had a nutritionist come in to evaluate our supplemental nutrition package and give recommendations. Some items we increased & some we subtracted based off updated recommendations, and we added 2 items that help aid in milk production for the lactating mothers. Dedicated to providing free nutrition for mothers every month & counselling, and support to pregnant and lactating mothers to combat malnutrition and improve maternal health every month in the year.
